Acceptance
By using GoviHub (spices.govihublk.com and related services), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Who can use GoviHub
GoviHub is intended for farmers, buyers, and suppliers operating in or sourcing from Sri Lanka. You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide.
Your content
- You retain ownership of harvest listings, photos, and other content you submit.
- You grant GoviHub a license to display, store, and process that content as needed to operate the service.
- You will not post misleading quantities, fraudulent listings, or content that violates Sri Lankan law.
Transactions between users
GoviHub connects farmers, buyers, and suppliers. Payment, delivery, and quality inspection happen directly between users. GoviHub is not a party to these transactions and does not guarantee outcomes. Dispute resolution is between the parties; we may provide good-faith assistance but are not obligated to adjudicate.
AI features
Crop diagnosis, advisory answers, weather alerts, and matching suggestions are AI-generated. Treat them as guidance, not as professional agricultural or medical-of-plants advice. Always corroborate with qualified extension officers when stakes are high.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change or be removed. We will give reasonable notice for significant changes to paid functionality (none at launch).
Prohibited uses
- Scraping, reverse-engineering, automated crawling beyond what robots.txt allows.
- Impersonating another person or cooperative.
- Misusing the platform to target or harass other users.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or Sri Lankan law. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@govihublk.com.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, GoviHub and AiGNITE Consulting are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding 12 months (which is currently zero for farmers).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka for Sri Lanka-based users. Disputes are to be resolved in the courts of Colombo unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Changes
We will post material updates here. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
